The task

With this power converter and its extended range of tasks, KID-Systeme has taken the connected cabin environment to the next level. The challenge was to create a design that would stand for innovation, value and efficiency, i.e. the characteristics of the new GeniusPOWER brand, in spite of little creative leeway due to pronounced technical and economic constraints.

The solution

Following several style variants, the design process resulted in a striking case with a clear-cut design that embodies the brand. With its puristic case, the device stands out in the market even at first glance. The brand values are further reflected in intelligent design solutions such as the energy- and noise-optimised passive ventilation.

The smart choice of materials and surfaces ensures product quality at the highest level. Design details such as the perforated grid structure, the large, accentuated corner radii, the blue anodised surface and the laser engraving define the visual brand language of the GeniusPOWER portfolio. And the systematic design even reduces manufacturing costs.
